Nong Noo's Story
Nong Noo was recently reunited with her family. She is from a remote village on the Thai/Burma border. She is only 14 years old and has been separated from her family for the last 18 months.
She had been taken from her home by a 'trader' with the promise of a good job. During those 18 months she was held captive and allowed no communication with the outside world.
After several months of enquiries she was finally located. With the co-operation of the local police a visit to this 'establishment' took place, which secured her release. Nong Noo has now joined our vocational training programme.
